Pathway Progress CIC was born out of lived experience and years of working closely with local communities across Sandwell and Birmingham. We saw first-hand the disparities in education, career progression, and personal aspirations among individuals from ethnic minority and disadvantaged backgrounds.
Many of the people we worked with lacked belief in their potential. Confidence was low, ambition felt out of reach, and far too often, individuals left school or college early to take on low-paid, unstable jobs. These roles rarely led to meaningful progress, and constant job changes became the norm. As technology reshaped the job market, the gap widened, leaving many without the skills or support needed to move forward.
We created Pathway Progress CIC to change that. Our mission is to empower people, reignite their confidence, and guide them to take practical steps toward sustainable careers and a brighter future. Through community-rooted programmes, relatable mentors, and inclusive learning environments, we walk alongside people as they re-discover their potential and build the life they deserve.
To empower individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds to excel in careers and achieve personal growth.
To bridge the gap for ethnic minorities facing unique challenges in accessing career and employment opportunities through personalised services in digital skills, employment support and personal development.
We partner with local centres, job coaches and training providers.
Every learner gets tailored guidance, not 'one-size-fits all' programme.
We track outcomes like employment, language confidence and digital skills.
Our session are accessible and culturally sensitive.
